I remember when I first read this blurb and I really wanted to read it, only to see that it still had to come out. This is a gem of a novel and falls into the genre of fantasy as well as possibly sci-fi.  This is Catriona Silvey's first book. Previously, she has worked in scientific publishing, and I guess her interest in science truly did inspire this novel. When they first bump into each other, their kindness is seen throughout the pair and they cannot stop talking. However, days later an accident occurs, cutting this relationship short.
